Who are ukpropertyclub?
The two main Drivers behind ukpropertyclub are Sandy Fraser and John Hughes who both have experience in buying investment and buy to let properties in the UK, as well as investing in property elsewhere in the EU. Both have also helped and given advice to friends and family with regards to property investment.
The basic idea behind ukpropertyclub came from a discussion at the dinner table between Sandy Fraser, his four children and their partners. All the 'children' were aged 20 to 25 and all wanted to get on the property ladder - but did not have the finances to go it alone.
The discussion was initially about financing their goal. However, it was soon realised that none of them, despite good educations and an abundance of commonsense, had any idea how to go about buying their first property. Two of them and their partners had been to, or were at, university so the idea of sharing with someone was not alien. If they could rent with comparative strangers then why not buy?
ukpropertyclub differentiates itself by not only getting prospective co-buyers and co-investors together but also bringing the relevant expertise together on one website, thus removing much of the frustration, hassle and stress and property buying.
We have tried to make ukpropertyclub as simple as possible to use and navigate, whilst providing its members with as much impartial and unbiased information as possible.
- TIP: ukpropertyclub recommend that you meet prospective co-buyers in a public place. You should then get to know them as friends rather than as a means to purchasing a property; don't forget you will probably have to live with them for two or three years!
