House sales numbers on the Increase

Lower Interest Rates and recent house price falls tempt buyers back to the market which has resulted in the number of properties exchanging hands increase.
Activity in the housing market has been showing signs of recovery in recent weeks,with the National Association of Estate Agents saying its members sold the highest number of properties during May since October 2007,while both the Halifax and Nationwide reported house price rises during the month.
There was concern that the mortgage drought will choke the current pick up in activity,with potential buyers unable to access the mortgage funding they need.
